Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ has crossed the $300 million at the global box office.
Cineworld announces that it will close its U.K. locations and could close most of its Regal Cinemas locations in the U.S.
The global box office total for the ‘Tenet’ now stands at $307 million, with $14.2 million grossed globally.
‘Tenet’ is the first major studio release to launch during the pandemic.
“This weekend is continuing what’s now expected to become a trend of quieter weekends at the domestic box office in the early autumn weeks following numerous release delays since ‘Tenet’ opened,” Shawn Robbins, chief analyst at Box Office Pro, said.
‘Tenet’ stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki.
