Facebook, Twitter remove Trump's post for spreading misinformation about COVID-19

Facebook removed a video clip posted by Donald Trump’s personal page of an interview in which he said that children are “almost immune” from COVID-19.

Trump had posted a link to a Fox News video in which he had claimed children were “almost immune” to COVID-19, prompting Facebook to act.

In a statement on Wednesday, Facebook said the video “includes false claims that a group of people is immune from COVID-19, which is a violation of our policies around harmful COVID misinformation.”

Twitter later took down the same video, tweeted by the president.
