Armenia reports first case of Kawasaki syndrome in a 4-year-old child with COVID-19

A 4-year-old child with coronavirus has been diagnosed with Kawasaki syndrome in Armenia, Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan reports on Facebook.

The Minister said that “several countries reported growth in the number of children with Kawasaki syndrome, and some researchers link this to COVID-19.”

Armenian Minister of Health pointed out that the country “purchased immunoglobulin drugs specifically for the treatment of this syndrome.”
