Boris Johnson names son after doctors who saved his life

Boris Johnson and his fiancee Carrie Symonds have named their son Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson. The names are a tribute to their grandfathers and two doctors who treated Mr Johnson while he was in hospital with coronavirus.
Symonds posted a picture of her holding the newborn on Instagram on Saturday, saying she “couldn’t be happier” and that her “heart is full”.

The UK Prime Minister returned to work on Monday, after becoming the first world leader to fall ill with coronavirus in March. He spent three nights in intensive care in early April, before his condition improved.
