Boris Johnson tests positive for coronavirus

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson tested positive for the coronavirus. Johnson announced his diagnosis in a remarkable video posted on social media.“Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus.

I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus”, Johnson said in a video posted to Twitter on Friday morning.
According to the U.K. government, as of 9am on 27 March 2020, a total of 113,777 people have been tested, of which 14,579 were confirmed positive.
