Elisabeth II's grandson Peter Phillips and his wife to divorce

Queen Elizabeth II’s eldest grandchild Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn have announced they are to divorce after 12 years of marriage.
“The Decision to divorce and work together to raise children was taken after many months of discussion, – said the representative of the pair. – The main priority of the spouses will remain the welfare and upbringing of their beautiful daughters Savannah and Isla”.
Buckingham Palace did not comment on the matter.
Phillips, 42, is the eldest son of Princess Anne, the queen’s only daughter, and Captain Mark Phillips. Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly got married in 2008. They were married in the Queen’s Windsor Palace. Phillips has no Royal title.
