Right-wing commentator Katie Hopkins has been permanently banned from Twitter.
The former Apprentice star, who had more than one million followers on the site, was removed for a string of offensive tweets.
Recently, she has been criticising the Black Lives Matter movement as well as the government’s decision to offer free meals to children during school holidays, a campaign driven by the Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford.
A Twitter spokesman confirmed Hopkins’s account had been shut down for breaking the site’s rules around hateful content.
