Twitter temporarily restricts Trump's son's account over COVID-19 video

Donald Trump Jr.’s Twitter profile was temporarily frozen by Twitter after the President’s son posted “misleading and potentially harmful information” related to COVID-19. Twitter restricted Donald Trump Jr.’s ability to tweet from his account for 12 hours.

The video was posted by others on Facebook Inc and Alphabet Inc-owned YouTube and taken down for breaking those sites’ rules on COVID-19 misinformation after racking up tens of millions of views.

The president regularly promoted the drug and said he had used it himself.

“They’re censoring my account. They’re censoring others,” Donald Trump Jr. said in an interview with Fox News Channel later on Tuesday.
