At least five people were killed after a 7.5 -magnitude earthquake hit near Mexico’s southern coastline on Tuesday.
The US Geological Survey estimated that two million people felt strong or moderate shaking and another 49 million felt weak or light shaking.

Oaxaca state Gov. Alejandro Murat said a 22-year-old woman and a man were among the dead.
The epicenter was 12 kilometres south-southwest of Santa Maria Zapotitlan in Oaxaca state.
