7 killed after reconnaissance plane crash in Turkey

Seven security personnel were killed after a reconnaissance plane crashed in eastern Van province, according to CNN Turk.

As reported, the plane crashed at an altitude of 2,200 meters (7218 feet) on Mount Artos.

The investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.

Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said, “Our crews were crushed by 2,200 altitudes of Mount Artos and we lost 7 heroes, 2 of them were pilots.”
