Russia reports 9,434 new COVID-19 cases

Russia confirmed 9,434 new coronavirus infections, bringing the country’s official number of cases to 335,882. It’s the highest number in any country except the United States.

The data released on Saturday revealed 139 COVID-19 people have died, raising the total death toll since the outbreak began to 3,388.

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned citizens that a second wave of the deadly virus could hit the country from late October to November.
107,936 people in Russia are no longer infected with coronavirus, health officials said.
