Russia’s sovereign wealth fund said it will sell 100 million doses of the ‘Sputnik-V’ COVID-19 vaccine to Dr Reddy’s Laboratories once it receives regulatory approval in India.

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) had also agreed to cooperate on clinical trials and the distribution of the vaccine with the Indian firm.

Russia claims Sputnik-V is the first coronavirus vaccine to be registered in the world.
